Moses Jackson Sanga is a Software Engineer and AI Innovator who builds scalable, AI-powered solutions that promote sustainability, education, and business growth across Africa. He is the Founder of TAKA HUB, an offline-first AI platform that is transforming waste management, recycling, and eco-education in African communities.

TAKA HUB unique features include offering free offline eco-courses, AI-powered waste sorting, and creative waste hacks that turn trash into treasure. The platform develops waste-derived products like eco-charcoal, recycled bricks, and compost, and integrates smart tech solutions such as IoT bins and AI tools to improve waste collection and learning.

Through TAKA Eco Clubs, Moses empowers students to design waste-tech innovations, which the hub funds and mentors. The TAKA Collection Network operates like Uber for waste, linking users with collectors and rewarding responsible disposal with TAKA Points. The TAKA Shop and Marketplace enables the sale of eco-products, while their green job training equips youth with skills in recycling, composting, and AI-powered waste solutions.

Beyond waste innovation, Moses is also the co-founder of Fursa AI, an initiative that equips university students with AI skills, remote work tools, and freelancing strategies to become income-generating problem-solvers.

His mission is to bridge the gap between AI, sustainability, and education ensuring Africa doesn’t just participate in the global innovation movement, but leads it.

I am the Founder of TAKA HUB, a tech-driven environmental project that is revolutionizing waste management, recycling, and eco-education in Africa. TAKA HUB is an offline-first AI-powered platform that helps communities identify, sort, and manage waste properly even in areas without internet access. The project was first implemented in Tanzania, where it focuses on creating environmental awareness, teaching waste sorting through free offline courses, and enabling smart waste disposal using AI image recognition. The app scans waste items and classifies them as recyclable, compostable, reusable, or hazardous. TAKA HUB also goes beyond education. We partner with schools to establish TAKA Eco Clubs, where students build waste-tech projects with our mentorship and support. We’ve launched a TAKA Collection Network (similar to Uber for waste) that connects households to verified waste collectors and rewards users with TAKA points for proper waste disposal. We also run a TAKA Marketplace to sell eco-products like recycled bricks, compost, and upcycled crafts. TAKA HUB is currently active in Tanzanian communities and schools, with plans to expand across Africa. It aims to create green jobs, reduce pollution, and build a culture of sustainability through technology. Through TAKA HUB, we are not just managing waste we are building a circular economy movement that connects AI, sustainability, and youth empowerment to solve one of Africa’s most pressing challenges.
