Vitória Lima Albuquerque
Part of Raitec, a technology and innovation group at the Federal University of Ceará specializing in robotics, artificial intelligence, and IoT solutions.
Hi! My name is Vitória, I’m 20 years old, and I’m a STEM student. I’m currently conducting research on telecommunications and renewable energy within Brazil’s federal education network. I’m passionate about innovation and a committed climate activist. For me, participating in SES 2025 is an opportunity to connect with like-minded changemakers, share ideas that drive sustainable development, and amplify youth voices in the fight against the climate crisis.
I am part of Raitec, a technology and innovation group at the Federal University of Ceará specializing in robotics, artificial intelligence, and IoT solutions. There, I am contributing to the development of a smart solar panel prototype designed to enhance the efficiency of existing solar technologies. This project is especially meaningful to me, as Fortaleza—the city I call home—is known as the “City of the Sun.”
Previously, during my telecommunications research at the Federal Institute of Ceará, I also developed a solar-powered mesh network prototype to expand internet access in remote areas.
