Hello! I’m Sodgerel Gansukh from Mongolia, currently based in Japan. My research focuses on sustainability, resource policy and environmental security through a life cycle approach. I love connecting with changemakers around the world and making sustainability science more inclusive. I’m truly honored to be part of the SES 2025 team and excited to meet you all!

In 2022, I worked as part of the organizing team for Mongolia’s first UN Youth Delegate: Environmental Leadership Program, led by United Nations Association Mongolia. This landmark initiative supported the selection and preparation of Mongolia’s first official UN Youth Delegates, who went on to represent the country at COP27 in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt and the COP15 to the Convention on Biological Diversity in Montreal, Canada. It was an incredible experience in youth empowerment and climate diplomacy.
