SES 2026 Ambassador

Zuned Zibran Ali
Part of the Zayed Sustainability Prize project at Kamil Muslim College
I’m Zuned Zibran Ali, a student at Kamil Muslim College in Fiji Islands. I’m passionate about science and using the knowledge to solve real world problems. I’ve led projects like solar energy systems, hydroponics and biogas at my school after winning the Zayed Sustainability Prize grant. As a Youth Ambassador for the Zayed Sustainability Prize and now the Student Energy Summit, I aim to inspire change. My goal is to help build a more sustainable and resilient future for my community.
I was part of the Zayed Sustainability Prize project at Kamil Muslim College, where we focused on practical solutions to improve sustainability in our school and community. I helped lead the installation of a solar energy system to reduce electricity costs, set up hydroponics to grow fresh vegetables efficiently, and built a biogas digester to convert waste into cooking gas. These projects were all implemented on our school grounds and were aimed at promoting clean energy, food security and better waste management. Being involved taught me the value of teamwork, research and using science to create lasting impact.
