Currently working as commercial specialist for subsea installation projects, Rafaela has a degree in Mechatronic Engineering from the Catholic University of Petrópolis and California State University in the USA. She completed her master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering at Heriot-Watt University in partnership with Galp in Portugal. With years of experience as Project Engineer Offshore (PLSVs), Rafaela also has a degree in Metrology and Quality from Inmetro, where she spent 10 years before joining the oil and gas industry. Voluntarily, she is the director of Diversity and Inclusion of SPE Brazil section, where she focuses on the D&I agenda in the energy sector.
