Undergraduate student in International Relations and Integration at the Federal University of Latin American Integration (UNILA), a researcher at the Latin American Observatory of Energy Geopolitics (OLAGE), and a member of the IRENA Global Council on Enabling Youth Action for SDG 7. Representing Latin America and the Caribbean, he contributes to global discussions on sustainable energy and youth engagement, promoting energy literacy and youth participation in the energy transition and development process. Kauano has been advancing energy literacy at both regional and national levels through academic research collaborations and hands-on workshops across Brazil, aiming to democratize the energy debate among young students, Indigenous youth, and community leaders.
